Black Daniel’s new single Mobile Phones and remix from Medicine 8 is out out now on Trashmouth Records. The tracks have been picking up a lot of support since it’s release with Medicine 8′s remix gathering fans from the likes of Jagz Kooner, Crookers, Deepgroove and featuring in the Push Music podcast. It’s also set to be single of the month in DJ Magazine.

Fully Loaded ‘Roll with it’

We like new music but sometimes we have to shout about something old. Here’s the plot of ‘Roll with it’ – Karl Brown and Todd Edwards collaborate on a track with UKG starlet Kele le Roc on vocals. Karl Brown starts to play it on dubplate and all hell breaks loose. It’s certified an anthem. This is 10 years ago. ‘Roll with it’ is one of those gems that never saw the light of day (apparently due to licensing agreements with management)

Fast forward to right here, right now and Ministry of Sound radio resident Fiskin’s just released ‘The Sound of UK Garage’ managing to get all parties involved with ‘Roll with It’ to let it finally see the light of day. It’s out; a little later than planned but ‘Roll with it’ is here.

UK Garage is well and truly back on the map (Push Music are playing a much anticipated back to 95 UKG set at the Macbeth this Saturday) but lets ignore the dusty vinyl as it’s all about the new class. Ministry of Sound are leading the way with this release. Get ready for resurrection of one of the greatest sounds to grace the capital.

Black Daniel are back with a rushing psychedelic song with all the charm and energy that we’ve been craving since there killer second album ‘Lets Get Sued’. New single Mobile Phones is out on the 4th July and is accompanied by an Acid House carnival remix of the track from Medicine 8. Mobile Phones is the first release from their upcoming third album due out later this year on Trashmouth Records.

Sermon ‘The Touch’

Born in the city of Gothenburg in Sweden, young trio the Touch are releasing their new and beautifully dark single “Sermon” on July 11th on Kitsuné

Directly emerging from the club scene that prevailed in Gothenburg in 2006, The Touch recorded a couple of EPs on DJ Nibc’s label Trunkfunk and toured across Europe before getting back to work to produced ‚ÄúSermon‚Äù their new single which is also one of the highlights of the latest Kitsun?© Maison 11 compilation.

You could just call it a Kraftwerkesque tune about brokenheartedness, never putting The Touch’s great love for disco into any doubt. The remixes by Chad Valley, Renaissance Man, Seekae, Cosmonaut and DJ Nibc offer a different visions of the tracks, some more vivid and others a little darker.
