To celebrate the dawn of 2011 we’ve put together a very special line up for you. FLUSHED is the club night IGNUG were born to play, so we’re ecstatic to finally see them on our roster. TELEGRAM FROM THE QUEEN will dirty your ears with their filthy techno.

RUN TOTO RUN are coming down all the way from Manchester to play us their awesome slices of pop electro. LIGHTHOUSES return to FLUSHED after nearly a year with their indie influenced electro gems. Finally EVOKATEUR will bless your ears with tunes both beautiful and made for the dance floor.

The Bar sees in the return of PUSH MUSIC, BLACK MASA, SUPERCOOL DJS and SEVEN SHADES OF SH*T in providing the down right dirty four to the floor soundtrack that FLUSHED has become known for.

East London locals and NME favourites CHAPEL CLUB are set to be the biggest new band of 2011 following sell out tour dates and unanimous praise for their output, including the awesome ’5 Trees’ and ‘All The Eastern Girls’. Still hot from the praise garnered from his latest single with Fred Falke, ‘Y.S.L.M’ (seen the video?), BURNS will be hitting the decks for us at 93 Feet East this NYE. Topping off the headliners is Greco Roman Soundsystem’s DRUMS OF DEATH (of the best underground dance albums of the year with ‘Generation Hexed)

After last year’s amazing effort on both the costume and attendance front, Push Music are back for our infamous Halloween party at Tigerlilly bar. If you were there last year you know how the living dead got down. Crypt doors open at 8 with drinks promotion on main line spirits (the drinks not ghosts)

Since Playtime opened it’s aesthetically pleasing doors, creative types have been flocking there to let their hair down and shake themselves loose.

Situated on the edge of Islington Green this unique bar has formed a hybrid of a performance space, art installation and bar – using all three purposes to their most exquisite extent. The interior is altered every four months to match the exhibiting artist’s installation, transforming the bar into a fully submersive gallery, with some great music to match.

It’s Push Music’s turn to play this Friday and there’s been talk of a ‘no dance music’ rule. I’m game for a ban on all things Dance if it means no Guetta, Teisto or the Swedish House Mafia whilst I’m sipping my Whiskey Sour but Push Music do things a little differently. Expect a nostalgic soundtrack of funk, rare groove and soul right though to Prince, Talking Heads, Blondie and finishing with our infamous mix of Indie Electro (The intelligent side of ‘dance’ music and the blueprint to an alternative night out)

Push Music play 90 FREE FRIDAYS PRESENTS: FLUSHED at 93 Feet East on Friday 18^th JUNE 2010

The good folks at 93 are showing the England vs. Algeria World Cup match in both rooms for the early part of the evening, DJ sets will start from 21:00.

East London’s answer to the Camden Crawl got a little bigger and better this year with more venues, more DJ’s and more kool kids celebrating all things rave. Push Music we’re lucky enough to spin in the Queen of Hoxton before the Filthy Dukes got  sweat dripping of the walls downstairs. It gets a bit blurry after 2am but flashbacks include a rammed Legion giving away free shots, Simian Mobile disco rocking a car park, getting lost in Hearne Street offices and being politely asked to leave the Macbeth as one of our party had fallen asleep at the bar.

Roll on 2011.

A few days late on this but I need to mention the serious fun from last weekend. Push Music played a rammed gig at 93 Feet East’s 90 Free Fridays (Soon to be re-launched as Flushed) Stage dancing, a main room set from Push Music and London’s best new bands make up East London’s busy monthly party. We’re back on the 18th June – I’m thinking football, beers, disco and dancing from the Flushed residents.

Saturday we hit Matt Horne’s Session 14 with a stand out new-disco set from Paul Epworth at a sweaty Sessions sell out. (Roll on the grand unveiling of the Queen Of Hoxton’s rooftop for some Summer night Indie/Electro nonsense) Obviously I’m biased but can’t recommend Sessions enough. I’ve been a  bit slack on self motivation side of blogging but more content, more mixes, more gigs and more updates on what we’re up to over Summer will be updated on the regular from now on. Content is king.

Adventures in the Beetroot Field carry on their monthly residency at the Rest Is Noise, bringing the legendary party South the river.

ALI LOVE You may well have heard the name Ali Love before, either as the singer on the CHEMICAL BROTHERS’ smash Do It Again, or on his own earlier solo singles. But even if somehow you haven’t come across him already, one thing is certain: from here on in, there’ll be no escaping Ali Love.

DEATH METAL DISCO SCENE DMDS have gained a solid reputation as remix extraordinaires , having re jigged the likes of GORILLAZ, BAT FOR LASHES, LILLY ALLEN, KYLIE and more. We’re very excited to have them bring their awesome brand of disco punk to 93’s famous live stage.

LUXURY LIVING These guys have been all over the blogosphere recently, with good reason. Proper dance floor friendly electro pop perfectly suited to FLUSHED’s Friday night party ethos.

TRAVEL AGENCY Eman de Guermantes, baron de Charlus, and Jin Fuzz, duc d’Elchingen and prince de la Moskowa, met in 2008 and found a common interest for electro music. After a few months, they were looking for some hot girls for a video. They met Candy Bonbon, and felt in love. Travel Agency was born.
