The Rapture is Coming

Not the jesus kind. The Noisey UK Special Engagement happens on Monday! RSVP to win tickets and watch them play live at Rowan’s Bowling Alley by emailing ukcompetitions@vice.com stating why The Rapture are your favourite band.

Not only that, submit a video of you playing some cowbell (more cowbell!) and you could win a chance to kick their ass at bowling after the show. Not from London? Don’t worry, Noisey will foot your travel and hotel costs if you’re coming from anywhere in the US / Europe.

Noisey’s Special Engagements with the Rapture

So Vice had one in Austin, Berlin and even Beiijing But now Dell and Intel’s Special Engagements are coming to London, with The Rapture no less.

You can enter for the chance to win tickets on the microsite (link below). Better yet, Noisey, Dell and Intel will fly one special fan over from anywhere in Europe or the US to play cowbell in ‘House of Jealous Lovers’ live during the show as one of the three ‘Special Engagements’. All you have to do is submit an audition tape of you playing the cowbell and fans will vote on whose is the best! Engagement three gives fans the chance to design a t-shirt that will be sold at the event.

Duck and Cover want your face

Duck and Cover, the brand named after the 1950′s American government’s advice on what to do in the event of a nuclear bomb, are searching for their new campaign model in a different way.

Instead of hiring a po faced professional, these guys are holding a competition called “We Want Your Face”. The winner receives £1000 in cash, £1000 Duck and Cover apparel and will get to see his mush all over the internet and a million magazines.

It’s not all for the gents either The female winner will be styled and photographed by the VICE Style team and featured in an editorial for VICE magazine.
